Welcome to our site

Kiwanis Club Arezzo is an emanation of Kiwanis International (K.I.), Kiwanis International European Federation (K.I.E.F.) and District Italy.

This World Wide Web site is established to promote the objects of Kiwanis International and to inform about the activities of Kiwanis Club Arezzo.
Kiwanis International is an organization of service clubs headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana and made up of approximately 13,000 clubs in 96 countries with over 600,000 members. Members of Kiwanis place special emphasis on service to children and youth, both through international initiatives intended to improve the quality of life of children around the world, and through their Service Leadership Programs.

Kiwanis clubs and members are guided by six "Objects":
* To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
* To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
* To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
* To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
* To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
* To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
